The laneway project was a series of quick charettes, run at the beginning of the Masters course in 2008. The charettes coincided with a Brisbane City Council initiative to put artwork in several Brisbane CBD lanes so as to improve their image, as had been achieved in Melbourne some time earlier. Though the council initiative failed, the project was fun, spontaneous and creative. This is my favourite of 3 schemes, and is based on the work of Daniel Buren.
